Responsibilities

Summary

The Project Specialist position is a key resource for the practice transformation team in managing and coordinating the department calendar, key workshops and events, and supporting the day to day operations of the practice transformation team. This project coordinator will ensure that projects provide expected solutions and are delivered on time and with acceptable levels of satisfaction by internal stakeholders and process owners.

This position is located in San Diego County.

 

Hours

 

Full time – Day Shift

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years project team leadership required. *It is recommended that you please include a cover letter that discussed your project team leadership experience.  
  • Knowledge of IS principles and practices, the ability to evaluate solutions by interpreting functional requirements, and the ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical users/clients required.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization (management, staff, and physicians).

  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately both verbally, and in writing, to achieve results for the organization.

  • Ability to conduct presentations and training.

  • Ability to effectively support teams and meetings.

  • Ability to practice good time management and to multitask.

  • Ability to negotiate and set priorities required.

  • Experience managing a variety of projects with successful outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill the duties and responsibilities described herein.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

 

  • MA or LVN
  • Knowledge of healthcare information systems environment
  • Experience in a health care system preferred
