The Psych Social Worker is responsible for conducting behavioral health psychosocial assessments and clinical interventions, inclusive of individual, group, and family therapy.In collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, the Psych Social Worker coordinates patient care and provides case management for assigned patients.
Sharp Mesa Vista's Child and Adolescent treatment programs offer hope and professional expertise, and are carefully designed to offer treatment to young people and their families in crisis. We treat children and teens with depression, anxiety, substance use, bipolar disorder, self-harm and aggressive behaviors.

This position is located in El Cajon, San Diego County in the Adolescent Cognitive IOP
8-hour shift; 11-7:30pm Mon, Wed, Thurs
Required Skills and Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
One year of experience in a behavioral health setting
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Three years’ of experience in a behavioral health setting
Acute psychiatric hospital experience
Discharge planning/case management experience
