The Radiologic Technologist - Fluoro will be responsible for all general radiology and fluoroscopy exams within SRS Radiology. The Radiologic Technologist – Fluoro produces high quality exams in compliance with department policy, procedures and guidelines. Demonstrates commitment to providing safe, efficient quality care. Provides pre and post procedure education to patient and family. Verifies physician orders and utilizes RIS correctly to complete all paperwork. Adheres to all Sharp Healthcare practices and policies. Follows Sharp Behavior Standards and AIDET. Complies with all regulatory requirements including licensing, certification, and other mandatory training within established time frames.
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Centers offers radiology services at 14 convenient locations throughout San Diego County. Our services are provided with state of the art digital and CR imaging equipment sent and stored in PACS. We offer services for General, Fluoroscopy, Dexa, Mammography, Ultrasonography, CT and MRI imaging needs. Our Radiology staff are highly trained and certified to meet the needs of San Diego Community. This position will float to all radiology facilities within Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group, San Diego County
8-hour shifts, Per Diem position to work variable hours and days of the week; weekends and holidays as needed; work hours will vary according to clinic hours of operation.
- Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements of an appropriate State and/or Federal mandated certification or equivalent
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- CRT License and CA Fluoroscopy certification
- Working knowledge of all Radiology exams
- Excellent customer service skills
- Skill to work independently with minimal supervision
- One year experience as a Radiology Technologist
