Responsibilities

Summary
The Radiology Rep – Scheduler will provide administrative support to ensure the Department's success. This position works closely with patients, physicians, clinical staff, and support personnel throughout Sharp HealthCare. Key responsibilities may include reception, scheduling, phone management, and medical record coordination. 
The Sharp Rees-Stealy Radiology Department provides digital radiology services at several Sharp Rees-Stealy locations. Staff members are highly trained and certified to meet all of the patient's health care needs. Services offered include: diagnostic radiology, mammography and sterotactic biopsies, ultrasound, CT, MRI, DEXA (bone density), nuclear medicine and imaging-guided biopsy procedures.  Radiology services are provided at 12 Sharp Rees-Stealy sites: Chula Vista, Downtown, El Cajon, Genesee, La Mesa, Mira Mesa, Otay Ranch, Point Loma, Rancho Bernardo, San Diego, Scripps Ranch and Sorrento Mesa.

Today, Sharp Rees-Stealy has 22 locations (and still growing) and over 500 primary care doctors and specialists representing virtually every field of medicine.

Location
This position is located in Mira Mesa, San Diego County.
 
Hours
Per diem: 8am to 5:30pm; weekends as needed.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate clearly, politely, accurately and tactfully; both orally and in writing.
  • Medical terminology, computer skills, strong customer service skills.
  • High School Diploma.
 
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years in an imaging setting preferred.
Physical Requirements may be discussed at the time of interview
