Responsibilities

Summary

The Registered Nurse - RN - Pacemaker Clinic will work with providers in a fast-paced clinical setting within the Cardiology department and be trained in procedures such as Pacemaker/ICD Interrogation. 

The Pacemaker RN will work in a fast-paced clinical setting within the Cardiology department and collaborate closely with electrophysiology providers.  Training will be focused on cardiac device interrogations for pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders.  Responsibilities include management of remote monitoring.

Location
This position is located in Serra Mesa, San Diego County
 
Hours
10-hour variable shift, 7:00am-5:30pm, no weekends
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Associates of Science Degree in Nursing
  • Current unencumbered CA Registered Nurse (RN)  license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Minimum three (3) years’ of RN work experience in Cardiology or Telemetry
  • Strong arrhythmia knowledge base
 
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Pacemaker/ICD experience
  • ICU/CCU experience
