Summary – This is a temporary position
The Screening Support Representative is responsible for performing health screenings/COVID medical questionnaire on all patients, guests and employees prior to entering the facility. This role requires strong customer service skills, maintaining a warm and caring demeanor and providing the Sharp Experience to everyone.
The Screening Support Representative must also be able to feel confident in stopping visitors who do not have a badge and be comfortable engaging employees who may attempt to bypass the screening process. This position also ensures that social distancing is being observed and will also facilitate communication to departments as needed.

This position is located in Serra Mesa
Part-time - 20 hours/week. 1:30 pm -5:30 pm Monday- Friday, weekends as needed. Temporary position to continue for up to six months.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to confidently interact with a wide variety of individuals including: patients, physicians, members of the leadership team, and colleagues.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
