The BA- Social Worker is responsible for providing documentation for discharge planning, psychosocial, treatment plan, UR review, and care coordination for patients. Intake phone calls and assess patients for appropriate programs.

The hospital’s robust Clinical Research Program has conducted more than 250 clinical trials of investigational medications since its inception in 1963, providing new options and hope for people with mental illness.
Sharp Mesa Vista provides inpatient care and offer outpatient programs throughout the community.
This position is located in Serra Mesa, San Diego County
8-hour shift; 8:00 am -4:30 pm
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work
One year experience providing supportive care to adults with mental illness
Current CPR certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Acute psychiatric hospital experience
Case management experience
