The Staffing Specialist is responsible to ensure the scheduling and organization of the work load for all staff across the region to include Patient Service Representatives, Business Services, Nursing, MA's, and Support Services. The Staffing Specialist will assist patients, physicians, supervisors and leads as needed to maintain a high level of efficiency and positive public relations in the patient care areas.
The Sharp Rees Stealy Scheduling Services Department offers front office administrative support to various departments at Sharp Rees Stealy Medical Group. Patient Service Representatives or other staff members are trained to fill positions when regular staff are on vacation or are ill. Float team members enjoy a variety of short or long term assignments at different locations.

Sharp Rees-Stealy has been serving the health care needs of San Diegans since 1923 when doctors Clarence Rees and Clair Stealy formed San Diego's first multispecialty medical group practice. Today, Sharp Rees-Stealy has 22 locations (and still growing) and over 500 primary care doctors and specialists representing virtually every field of medicine.
This position will float to various Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Clinics in the Central San Diego region.
Full time: 5am to 2pm.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Two (2) years employed in a ambulatory setting.
- High School diploma or equivalent certification.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
