- Critical Thinker
Working under the direction of the Manager, and/or Lead, the Systems Analyst role within IT provides operational support, change management, and ongoing maintenance for IT Applications. Provides quality support for assigned applications and performs analysis and troubleshooting. Portrays competency for operational, application and administration duties required to support Sharp’s environment in a highly available manner. Provides direct support for the IT applications and supports the effective and efficient use of computing resources and facilitate client workflows. May participate in project initiatives, planning activities, and collaborate with other Analysts.
This is a float pool position through Staffing Resource Network (SRN). The SRN department offers opportunities to experience a wide range of patient care at various sites within Sharp HealthCare. Sharp promotes quality patient-family centered care in a team environment with excellent customer service. This position requires an enthusiastic, positive individual willing to be a part of a dynamic float pool servicing all of Sharp HealthCare.
Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC). These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system. These services include: Strategic Planning, Business Development, Information Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Insurance, Contracts, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Development, Clinical Effectiveness, Finance, Nursing, Systems Supply Chain Services, Marketing and Communications, The Sharp Experience and Sharp University.
This position is located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego County.
Per Diem, variable hours and shifts, weekends as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience in a health system that include systems analysis and/or information technology activities is preferred
Proficiency in the applications supported by the department, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Project Web Ap
Must be able to calmly and professionally respond to frequent deadlines for reports and related tasks, and to prepare work and presentations on short notice
Uses telephone frequently; must be able to hear and speak clearly by telephone
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Nursing, or Health Care Administration preferred
Relevant experience in excess of three (3) years or appropriate certifications may be substituted
Complete all IT Proficiency Requirements within one year
Certified Lean Six Sigma White Belt preferred
