This position is located in Kearny Mesa,  San Diego County


 8 Hour Day Shift, On-call rotation, evenings and weekends as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or Information Systems
  • Two (2) years of experience in Enterprise Content Management implementations and/or support
  • Understanding and experience developing project plans, scope documents and managing time lines following an approach such that project deliverables are thoroughly communicated to the client and deadlines are met
  • Skills in applying IS principles and practices to systematically interpret functional requirements into application design and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical customers
  • Experience analyzing complex issues and/or requests to provide effective solutions with the ability to identify root cause, communicate options and propose solutions
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to analyze user needs/requirements to translate into business requirements and system solutions
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment where multiple duties are performed to meet client expectations and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills and Qualifications                    

  • CDIA certification
  • OCR and Forms Processing experience
  • Datacap and OnBase experience
  • Basic knowledge of SQL database, SQL scripts/queries and VB
  • Two (2) years of experience working in a healthcare environment                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Summary                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              The Systems Analyst will act as a content expert and consultant for our electronic records management systems as well as serve as a liaison and mentor to our business operation (both clinical and non-clinical) regarding its enterprise content management needs.  Responsibilities for this position include leveraging a thorough understanding of enterprise content management to design, implement, and maintain our imaging products as well as identify and correct flaws in our document retention and retrieval processes.  Individual will utilize strong interpersonal skills in partnering with a variety of technical and business staffs to mentor users, gather requirements, solidify processes, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and perform software implementations.

The Document Imaging Group consisting of 7 IT professionals is responsible for the design, testing, and maintenance of the OnBase, RightFax, and Datacap applications: OnBase Electronic Content Management – stores images from across the enterprise. Rightfax Inbound Fax Server – takes fax images and imports them into OnBase. Datacap Taskmaster – OCR System that is used in AP and Claims. Automate -  Facilitates any Windows related tasks.  A dynamic group of individuals, the Document Imaging Group is a great place to learn, produce, and have fun while delivering quality results and success to our customers. Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC).  These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system.  These services include: Strategic Planning, Business Development, Information Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Insurance, Contracts, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Development, Clinical Effectiveness, Finance, Nursing, Systems Supply Chain Services, Marketing and Communications, The Sharp Experience and Sharp University.

Essential Physical Requirements may include

  • Incumbent spends 5 - 6 hours per day sitting at desk, computer terminal or meeting table
  • Use telephone frequently; must be able to hear and speak clearly by telephone
