The position is located in Downtown San Diego; may be asked to float based on training needs.
Per diem: 10-hours variable; weekends as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years training and education experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Related coursework may be substituted for one year of experience.
  • Medical Terminology required within six months of hire.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required.

The Training Coordinator is to supervise and coordinate training and communications activities, as needed for ongoing Sharp Rees-Stealy Computer Systems including Electronic Medical Record and IDX.
The Sharp Rees-Stealy Administration department supports Primary Care/Specialty Clinics and Ancillary departments with clinical staff and Front Office new employee orientation.  Staff prepare and teach in-services based on needs of the departments.
