About Sharp HealthCare.

Exceptional care and compassion are at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to transform the health care experience — to give our patients a level of attention and comfort that is like nothing they’ve ever encountered. It’s going beyond caring for people to caring about people. It’s the extraordinary care we call The Sharp Experience.

With more than 18,000 dedicated employees, we’re proud to be the largest private employer in San Diego County and the No. 1 integrated health care network in California. And others are noticing, too — in 2016, Sharp HealthCare ranked No. 16 out of 500 large employers on Forbes’ America’s Best Employers list and No. 2 on the newcomers’ list.

As San Diego’s largest and most comprehensive health care system, we offer a wide array of career opportunities at our four acute-care hospitals, three specialty hospitals, three affiliated medical groups, outpatient and urgent care centers, hospice and skilled nursing facilities, and home health services — where, each day, we work hard to provide health care the way it should be
