Our security team comprises dedicated, professional staff members who are passionate about achieving the highest level of safety for our staff, volunteers and patients. While serving their roles as primary crime deterrents, they play a vital part in supporting The Sharp Experience.

The Healthcare Per Diem Security Officer will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior). Control access, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, compose reports deter criminal activity and misconduct, and perform other duties as specified in post orders.

The SRN department offers opportunities to experience a wide range of patient care at various sites within Sharp HealthCare. Sharp promotes quality patient-family centered care in a team environment with excellent customer service. This position requires an enthusiastic, positive individual willing to be a part of a dynamic float pool servicing all of Sharp HealthCare.

This position will float to Sharp HealthCare locations in San Diego County.
