To provide administrative support and ensure the department’s success, these positions work closely with patients, physicians, clinical staff, and support personnel throughout Sharp HealthCare. Key responsibilities may include reception, scheduling, phone management, and medical record coordination, as well as providing leadership, coordination, and management of claims administration related projects. For the latter, duties include developing and maintaining processes that enhance overall claims resolution processes, including provider disputes, appeals, member reimbursements, and member out of pocket issues, as well as for prompt, accurate and efficient processing of claims within applicable regulatory standards. These claims processes are essential to ensure regulatory compliance as well as improve and enhance member and customer experience.
