$24.500 - $29.400 - $34.300The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
Assigns supplemental and other available staff in conjunction with leadership; assuring coverage for planned and unplanned absences. Provides and maintains staffing records such as attendance, training and time off records. Assists leadership team with training schedule for new and float employees and assists with coordination of new employee orientation. Provides tracking information for Leave of Absence and Intermittent leave. Maintains Per Diem schedules for all employees.
Although this is a remote position, you will be required to come into office as needed.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 Years experience in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -PREFERRED
Essential Functions
- Communicate Effectively
Responsible for covering all sick calls which includes: retrieving sick calls from voice mail daily, arranging coverage utilizing float pool and staff not needed for the day, communicate staffing arrangements via e-mail to administrative team to include vacation and time off requests, enter daily staffing in applications such as ANSOS and Webscheduler.
Notify Physician Services/Support Services of provider sick calls.
Maintain current contact information for all employees.
Generates reports such as Plan of the Day, Staffing log and uncovered positions.
Coordination of training schedules and availability for all float and new employees. - Assists with new employee processing and orientation
Ensures new employees have training schedules.
Coordinates new employee orientations.
Ensures new employees have correct information to place sick calls. - General support
If applicable in the department, assists with preparing daily bank deposits accurately and within established timeframes.
If applicable in the department, assists with preparation and distribution of PSR cash bags and batches.
If applicable in the department, assists with running providers schedules and reports as directed by site Management.
If applicable in the department, assists with maintaining provider schedules including sick calls and bump lists. - Outside resources
Act as a liaison between SRS/SRN.
Obtains outside staffing with administrative approval.
Verifies hours and locations worked with Leads/Supervisors. - Reports
Maintain current employee database in applications such as ANSOS, and Webscheduler.
Maintain daily attendance in respective application.
Track all medical leaves of absence.
Track employee attendance, brings issues to Management.
Prints attendance logs as requested.
Prepares attendance report for Management 1 month prior to employees evaluation date for review.
Provides reporting and accurate data for the Plan of the Day and other department specific reports and documentation, if applicable in the department. - Staffing contact
Prepares and notifies staff of their daily work assignments.
Coordinates training schedules with leads/supervisors.
Maintain training log to easily identify where staff are trained. - Time off request processing
Receives and date stamps request.
Review request and arranges appropriate coverage utilize the float pools or staff not utilized for that shift.
Notify Lead, Supervisor or Manager of approval/denial of request who will report back to the Staffer the resolution of the request.
Document in respective application.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with personnel of diverse departments/and or areas.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills with all internal and external customers.
- Ability to identify problems and resolve within outlined department policies and procedures.
- Ability to work productively and effectively, independently under pressure, remaining flexible.
- Ability to prepare staffing schedules for four weeks out.
- Ability to cover other staffing analysts when they are out of the office and assist with department staffing needs.
