$30.370 - $37.950 - $42.510The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
To support Sharp HealthCare 340B Program Covered Entities with established regulatory compliance standards for the hospital, retail and contract pharmacy settings. Responsibilities include developing and conducting audits, performing compliance-related tasks, and assisting with strategies to optimize operations and maximize cost savings.
Required Qualifications
- 3 Years experience in hospital pharmacy with some knowledge of retail pharmacy preferred.
- California Pharmacy Technician License (TCH) - CA State Board of Pharmacy -REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 Year experience with pharmacy billing, purchasing, or in a 340B healthcare setting.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board -PREFERRED
Essential Functions
- Regulatory Compliance and Auditing
Maintains competency with all 340B Program standards in accordance with Sharp policies and procedures, along with Federal and State regulations.
Perform monthly audits to prevent 340B diversion and duplicate discounts and maintain compliance with GPO prohibition requirements.
Completes assigned 340B audits and maintenance tasks in a timely manner utilizing appropriate tools for documentation.
Escalates compliance issues as soon as they are identified and assists in the resolution.
Collaborates with others to help optimize and automate audits for efficiency.
Participates and helps prepare for external 340B audits, as needed. - Data Management
Is proficient in navigating through the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and 340B vendor systems to help validate compliance with 340B claims.
Maintains and updates data elements required by the 340B split billing software and other 340B vendor systems, when applicable.
Extract utilization and purchasing data from Sharp's data reporting systems and the wholesaler portal as needed.
Is proficient in troubleshooting and resolving simple problems with data systems and works with the vendors and Sharp IT when assistance is required. - Initiative and Teamwork

Communicates issues as they arise to leadership in a timely manner. - Program Participation
Attends 340B conferences and participates in webinars as deemed necessary.
Maintains knowledge of current guidelines and changes with all regulatory standards around the 340B Program.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Knowledge of 340B regulations preferred.
