$58.795 - $75.865 - $92.934The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
The Lead Clinical Program Developer is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the continuous clinical quality/operational improvement activities for assigned populations(s) and departments. In collaboration with and under the direction of the Director, this position ensures program alignment to Behavioral Health strategic plan and assists in identifying opportunities to improve productivity, ensure financial sustainability, extend community outreach, improve patient and staff experience/satisfaction, and track clinical outcomes. This position also provides education in the area of quality improvement to departments, staff, providers, and the community and assists in positioning the clinicians and departments as experts in behavioral healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree In a mental health related field.
- 5 Years Leadership experience in behavioral healthcare.
- California BBS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - CA Board of Behavioral Sciences OR California BBS Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) - CA Board of Behavioral Sciences OR California Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) - CA Board of Psychology -REQUIRED
Essential Functions
- Financial Accountability
Assistance with and adherence to department budget by utilizing appropriate budget management. - Regulatory
Develops and tracks quality assurance activities.
Reviews and updates policies and procedures.
Ensures department safety procedures are implemented and followed. - Daily Responsibilities
Perform ongoing analysis of gaps in, and barriers to clinical care; ensuring alignment to the strategic plan.
Evaluate and interpret data, identify areas of improvement and growth, and focuses on interventions to improve outcomes.
Develop strong working relationships with all departments and divisions.
Creates direction and communicates a business case for clinical change(s) and/or enhancements by focusing on and addressing key priorities to achieve business results.
Assist managers and leads in ensuring competence of all staff and alignment with HRO.
Actively collaborate with teams/departments to improve patient outcomes and staff engagement.
Participates in the planning and providing of staff development and in-service training programs for department staff and supervises the overall outpatient staff education process.
Work closely with business development specialist and marketing to position and promote clinical expertise of individual staff and teams.
May oversee the Outpatient Assessment Team; positioning team as initial touch point for all new patients and community inquiries.
May oversee and/or supervises clinical trainees including psychology interns, psychology practicum students and behavioral health therapists (psychologist assistants). - Staffing
Conducts performance evaluations annually of direct reports.
Conducts hiring, counseling and termination with HR consultation.
Plans workflow/scheduling.
Provides ongoing training for new staff and concurrent staffing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to supervise students and clinicians.
