$71.361 - $92.079 - $112.796The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
This position is accountable for leading and directing the strategic planning process and determines the direction, goals, and success of the ambulatory services being offered at multi-specialty clinics of Focus Health located throughout San Diego County. The position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of the multi-specialty ambulatory service clinic operations. The position is subject to functional policies and goals and has the discretion to establish plans and recommend policies and priorities, provided activities are consistent with integration objectives, operating policies and precedents.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 5 Years management experience in healthcare.
- 2 Years experience with process change, organizational improvements, and/or strategic business growth.
- 2 Years experience in a leadership role in Ambulatory care and/or in a medical group collaborating with physicians.
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
Essential Functions
- Strategic Planning
Directs the strategic planning process for all multi-specialty ambulatory services at Focus Health Medical Group.
Engage with physicians and associations to identify and assess opportunities for Focus Health Medical Group.
Determines the overall vision, direction, goals and objectives of the Medical Group for enhanced alignment and success of the Medical Group in collaboration with SCMG Executive leadership.
Integrates all aspects of operations of the designated service areas specific to each specialty and clinic location. - Contract Relationships
Manages contract services, and/or outside relationships relating to daily operations.
Ensures organizational compliance with legislation and regulations as they impact the designated assigned areas. - Physician Relationships
Works with key physicians to drive quality and service outcomes as well as operational efficiency.
Develops and manages effective physician relationships to ensure strong cohesive teamwork for optimal service and quality outcomes.
Builds and maintains a close, effective, and positive relationship with physicians and advance practice clinicians for development of quality measurement, documentation, scope of practice, and policy/procedure development.
In partnership with physician leaders, designs and structures compensation models to attract and retain physicians and advanced care clinicians. Actively participates on recruitment of all providers to Focus Health. - Financial Oversight
Achieves financial outcomes and target goals for system efficiency.
Develops budgets and monitors controllable expenses.
Develops financial, staffing, and other resourcing needs as required to establish the department operations. - Leadership
Is accountable for overall operations management inclusive of responsibilities in cost management, quality of services delivered, employee and resource management and total care delivery at each clinic site.
Manages diverse group of multi-level and multi-site employees.
Develops and manages policies and procedures
