$55.914 - $72.147 - $88.380The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
Serve as the Sharp system leader for the Foundations of Sharp Healthcare's Friend of the Foundation (FOF), Guardian Agnel, Grateful Patient Referral, Partners and Employee Giving programs. Work closely with all three Foundations and the system pipeline development, stewardship and communications teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 Years experience in charitable fund-raising and/or non-profit hospital setting
Other Qualification Requirements
- Five years or more in three or more of the significant areas of duties and responsibilities would be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
Essential Functions
- Friend of the Foundation Program (FOF)
Direct and implement entire FOF program. Develop comprehensive strategy and processes for eligibility, benefits, collateral materials, communications and follow-up for implementation that is consistent with the system stewardship guidelines. Ensure production of FOF amenity bags. Ensure Foundation and Sharp medical record databases are maintained with FOF distinction on donor and patient records. Manage and ensure distribution of admission notifications and reports, Assess daily WPOT reports and modify ratings in donor records for all three Foundations. Ensure the delegation of Foundation staff follow up responsibilities and tracking in data base, referring potential prospects to frontline fundraisers. Review daily house lists for all five entities. Develop education plan for clinicians, ensuring implementation by front line fund raisers at all major entities. Maintain the FOF phone line, providing access to members seven days a week. - Employee Giving
Serve as the leader of the system wide Employee Giving Program for all three Foundations. Work with Foundation stewardship and communications team to develop the fundraising goal and plan for the annual campaign. Includes theme, messaging, marketing strategies and materials, prospect identification and assignment plans, events, acknowledgements and presentation content. Update employee giving portal in WorkDay on a regular basis. Coordinate with Sharp Payroll, Communicaitons, and Marketing to ensure successful campaign. Develop template and guidelines to implement program at all major Sharp locations. - Grateful Patient Referral (GPR) Program
Manage the GPR program for the system by ensuring timely distribution of GPR reports to foundation staff and determine appropriate assignments for follow up. Track and report assignments and resulting actions on a regular basis to SHF team. Conduct quarterly analysis to ensure success of program. Assist with the development of materials and awareness plan for Sharp clinicians systemwide. Lead the implementation team to ensure Sharp workforce is aware of the program. - Guardian Angel Program
Ensure the Guardian Angel Program is implemented across the system by: Providing direction to all three Foundation team leads on production and processes including timely recognition of honorees in accordance with established protocols. Work with communications and direct response teams to ensure theme, tone, messaging and images for program materials are positioned for success including timely and robust solicitation and acknowledgement efforts are in place. Ensure inventory of all GAP materials including pins, lab coats, not cards, marketing materials are available for all three Foundations. - Partner Giving Society
Provide system-wide leadership for the Partner Giving Society through the implementation of the established program plan and process flow. Responsible for systemwide data analysis, reporting, and engagement activities including collaboration with the stewardship team to produce annual recognition events. Evaluate progress and make recommendation to achieve annual goals at all three Foundations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven professional competence and successful fundraising background of meeting established goals.
- Ability to plan, organize and direct fundraising and organizational activities.
- Have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to formulate and express ideas and concepts clearly and concisely with special sensitivity to the needs of health care.
- Must be personable, articulate, diplomatic and able to deal with people in difficult circumstances.
