$24.500 - $29.400 - $34.300The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.

What You Will Do
To assist the Technicians and Pharmacists in providing customer service/pharmaceutical services that supports the mission, values and philosophy of Pharmacy Services and Sharp HealthCare. Performs technical tasks involved in the preparation, documentation and distribution of patient medications.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's License - CA Department of Motor Vehicles -REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 Year Experience in a hospital pharmacy environment.
- Experience with Pharmacy Computer systems.
- Experience with Pharmacy Billing.
- Experience with Microsoft office software.
Other Qualification Requirements
- Utilizes reliable transportation and possesses adequate personal insurance coverage. Demonstrates clean driving record in accordance with requirements of the employer DMV pull notice program and Sharp HealthCare Driver Guidelines.
Essential Functions
- Billing and reporting
Demonstrates consistent commitment to efficient pharmacy operations by entering data, printing, verifying completion and distribution of all necessary reports including: Billing, Pyxis, Pharmacist consulting and Medication safety.
Prepares laboratory reports, target renal lists and other targeted report data required for pharmacist consult or advisory service review.
Sustains a high level of accuracy of Data Entry. - Medication delivery
Delivers medications accurately and in a timely manner.
Responds to special delivery requests to meet criteria established for STAT, ASAP and NOW medication orders. - Processes medication orders
Adheres to all legal and pharmacy procedures.
Assures that incoming phone calls are answered promptly and with courtesy.
Assures that all tasks are accomplished during shift.
Prioritizes new orders/requests and directs them to the appropriate staff.
