$24.000 - $26.770 - $29.530The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
To provide support to the Finance Department by assisting with tasks and projects related to the Finance Department. To assist in the preparation of routine and ad hoc financial analysis; which supports departmental staff in providing management with the reports necessary to identify program performance and opportunities.
Other Qualification Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a University seeking BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Management.
Essential Functions
- Data collection
Assists in the accumulation, documentation, and data entry of financial, statistical, and operational information for routine and ad hoc reports and projects. Collects data and prepares statistical reports for distribution within the organization. - Financial analysis
Provide analyses for department and entity level projects in a concise, relevant, accurate, and timely, manner as requested by customer base, including management. Demonstrate dedication to continuous improvement of analytic skills through independent preparation and logical analysis. Demonstrate expertise and independence in the use of Systems. - People
Coordinate and support training, report writing, and problem resolution across system for new and existing users. Mentor user base to improve analytic interpretation of data. - Project management and teamwork
Meeting established deadlines and completing projects as assigned in an accurate and timely manner.
Contributing to the team development by sharing information.
Demonstrating ability to work independently and ask questions when needed.
Setting work priorities, goals, and objectives in consultation with others.
Dedication to enhancement and improvement of skills through training and assisting co-workers with tasks.
Representing the Finance department in a professional and competent manner, including a strong sense of responsibility for assigned duties. - Quality
Assists in investigation and research of issues or questions brought to Finance's attention. Assists finance department staff in preparation of reports and graphs for presentation at management and operational meetings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Computer skills must include experience with spreadsheet and word processing software, Microsoft Access skills a plus.
- Ability to work with multiple and changing priorities.
