$33.090 - $42.700 - $52.310The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
This role provides support for key strategic initiatives in the Caster Nursing Institute. These include initiatives in each of the four centers of excellence, center for professional growth, inquiry and innovation, simulation and innovative learning and community engagement. The position will support effective planning, implementation, and evaluation and ensure achievement of desired outcomes. The position is a super user for software solutions that support event management and learning and demonstrates The Sharp Experience with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 Years event and program management.
- 3 Years project management experience.
- 2 Years administrative support experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 Year experience with event management software.
- 1 Year experience with Mentor and Learning Management System software.
Essential Functions
- Event Management
Schedules events and coordinates space(s) based on function, scope, and number of attendees.
Facilitates communication/media about event with Sharp Communications and other relevant stakeholders.
Manages event registration process including internal and external attendees.
Manages abstract submission, evaluation, selection, notification, collection of electronic podium and poster files, and presentation process on day of event
Coordinates event-related catering and minimizes expenditure through accurate attendance records.
Coordinates day of event activities including presentation, agendas, programs, registration records, continuing education requirements, and just-in-time problem solving. - Program Management
Solicits and organizes cohort or attendee databases.
Orders and distributes program-related materials including assessment tools and other resources.
Coordinates overall program and individual course sessions and speakers.
Builds course by session in learning management system.
Generates course and program evaluations and readies data for analyses; produces presentation graphs as required.
Facilitates forming and adjourning activities (e.g. welcome days and end of program celebrations). - Project Management
Develops and follows standard work guidelines to execute projects with minimal direction.
Generates databases and reports to evaluate and demonstrate project outcomes.
Manages department website on Sharp Intranet. - Administrative Support
Provides administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, producing minutes, and associated documents.
Evaluates needs and maintains department supply levels and equipment.
Manages department invoices, check requests, purchase card expenses and expense reports.
Ensures effectiveness and efficiency of department operations. - Software Solutions
Functions as superuser for software (e.g. event management, mentor, Microsoft 365, etc.).
Builds skills in others in the use of software solutions. - People/Customer Service

Represents the department in a positive manner to internal and external customers.
Develops proactive working relationships with team members across Sharp HealthCare.
